If you don't see your question listed below, feel free to ask us.
Q: The screen for viewing the video online is small. Is there anyway to enlarge it?
A: It is small so that the video stream can be delivered without interruption to your computer. We believe that you can read all of the pertinent writing on that size screen. If you would like to view it in a larger format, may we suggest that you purchase a copy of the DVD, and you will be able to view it on any size TV screen.
Q: Will the new patent reform legislation make any part of this video and CLE course obsolete.
A: Only two small parts. That is, that the U.S. has a first-to-invent rule may be changed so that it is harmonized with the rest of the world, and become a first-to-file rule. Also, the best mode requirement may be eliminated. When the laws actually change, the video and booklet will be edited to reflect those changes. I have a Google Alert set to “patent reform legislation” to keep track of the goings-on in Congress.
Q: Is Paula available to give live seminars on intellectual property law topics?
A: Please see the list of States that do allow self-study courses. If your State is not on that list (except California that has a different set of rules) it is because they do not allow online self-study courses. If you would like to arrange a live seminar by Paula in any State for example, for in-house luncheon or a for Attorney’s Association meeting, please contact Paula at info@ogandthak.com for details.
Q: If we would like to purchase more than 1,000 views, what would be the price per view?
A: Please contact Paula at info@ogandthak.com for details.
Q: Do you have a PAL DVD format for sale?
A: We do not have a PAL DVD format for sale at this time. Depending upon the number you wish to order, we may be able to place an order to have those produced. Note that if you have a computer projection system, you can run your NTSC DVD on your computer and project the video.
Q: Do you region encoding on your DVDs?
A: No, our DVD is free of region encoding.
